On August 30th, Tamir will host its Annual Tee Up for Tamir Golf Fun-Raiser at Rideau View Golf & Country Club in Manotick.  This is a signature event and an important fundraiser for Tamir – the people who brought you “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”.  Last year Tamir raised over $35,000 in support of Tamir’s programs and services.  This year, the proceeds will be directed toward a very pressing need: the upkeep and maintenance of Tamir’s residences. People with developmental disabilities call these residences ”home”, and their protection and well being depends on their homes being safe, secure and well maintained.
