Please join us and share in a discussion on a topic to which we can all relate.

February 9 and 16, 2016 – Informal Discussion and Information Sharing

March 8 and 15 – Facilitated Discussion: When they don’t get it!
Learning your child has a disability or a life-threatening condition is heartbreaking. But what happens when your own family or friends/acquaintances just don’t get it; don’t seem to understand your child’s strengths and needs and your challenges. What to say when there are insensitive remarks or actions from those close to you.

Please join us for a facilitated discussion and share how you learned to cope and share tips on how to move forward.
