Dovercourt Recreation Centre WAVE Program and Families Matter Cooperative are excited to invite you to a unique networking and knowledge exchange event called Planning for Life After High School.

This interactive workshop is designed to offer parents, siblings, caregivers and persons with developmental disabilities with the essential information when planning for life after high school.

8:45-9:00am: Registration
9:00-9:40am: Navigating the System
9:40-10:20am: Planning
10:20am-10:40am: Networking break
10:40am-11:20am: Work and education
11:20am-12:00pm: Community participation

Activity details:
The Life After High School workshop is designed to be informative and interactive. The workshop will be facilitated by Stephanie King (Educator and FMC Board Chair) and will involve community leaders and speakers from various community organizations (more details coming soon).

Do you have a burning question you want answered? Please send to in advance and we will try to include them in the Program.

Registration details:
Free for members of Families Matter Coop and WAVE program participants.  You must nonetheless register to save a spot.

Non-member families can attend for a fee of $20.00 (max. of 2 people/family).  As seating is limited, please register early.
