The membership database, including email addresses and all other personal information therein contained, shall be only for the private use of the members. Members may not use any information from the membership database for commercial or business purposes.
Individual and family members with business or commercial interests, or with agency interests, may be listed in the membership database. Their particular business, commerce or agency interests may be noted as interests in that membership database. The business enterprise, commercial enterprise or agency may also be listed in the resource database.
The logos and web links of major partners and funders of the Co-op may be placed free of charge on the Home Page of the Co-op website. A Partners and Funders link may also be placed on the home page of the website.
Advertising from and links to non-profit enterprises may be placed without cost on the Co-op's website, in exchange for reciprocal arrangements being made to allow the Co-op to place advertising and links on the websites of such non-profit enterprises. Such advertising on the Co-op's website shall be accompanied by an appropriate disclaimer.
Advertising from for-profit enterprises may be placed on the Co-ops website in Google type displays with web links on a twelve month renewable basis. For fee schedules for such advertising, please contact us. Such advertising shall be accompanied by an appropriate disclaimer.
Concerning advocacy, it is the policy of the Co-op that the Board shall pre-approve advocacy efforts made in the name of the Co-op. The Co-op's name and support may not be claimed or implied without that pre-approval. This policy applies to advocating for groups, causes or particular individuals. It is the policy of the co-op that such advocacy efforts shall be made pro-actively.
