WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP?

Any student with a disability currently in high school or who has recently left school, along with one to three family members or supportive friends who wish to begin planning for a good life after high school.

There will be flexibility of student participation in workshops to accommodate all disabilities. Experienced support people will assist at the students’ sessions but please feel free to bring your own support worker.

WHAT IS BEYOND GRADUATION?

This workshop is designed to help young people with disabilities and their families begin effective planning for the future.

IN THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL…

• Begin an exploration of what the student’s future will look like
• Start to develop an action plan for the future
• Obtain information about community resources
• Develop relationships with people in similar life situations
•  Hear from a panel of parents who have experienced transition
