Community Participation Day Program Openings:Posted: Jul 29, 2010Notice to Families Ottawa Carleton Lifeskills (OCL) Kanata Location – Lifeskills or Leisure Program Has 5 full time spots available- can be full time or part time. They prefer full days but, are flexible with half days. The fee is $75.00 per day. Options: Volunteer Group: This is based out of one of our group homes and they are out in the community 4 days a week doing volunteer activities. Participants would have to be able to take OC Transpo with staff to all the activities. An assessment would have to be done to ensure that participants are able to fulfill the volunteer contracts. The breakdown would be the following: Monday: participants work on contracts for Tim Horton’s and Christmas exchange (this is done in our central location : 3 spots available Tuesday: this is a recreation day: 2 spots available Wednesday: Volunteer work at Value Village: 2 spots available Friday: volunteer work at OC Transpo: 2 spots available
